The few folks I know of who have had theirs re-plated have had them done by the trailer manufacturer, Ifor Williams.
I will drop De Graaff who built my trailer an email in the next couple of days to scope them out on it. I'm pretty certain the police or VOSA would be less than impressed with a DIY re-plating job if they pulled you over!
