I have a 6m Searider with a pair of 50 4-strokes on a very beefy ex MOD trailer and usually need the assistance of low range and traction control on my Disco on the (gravel) slip. No chance with an Astra.

Why would you use an Arsetra over an L200?

Will be leaving the rib down there, and much cheaper to do the 400 mile round trip in the astra van but would have to tow the rib a mile or 2 to launch it.....

We have a 2010 astra van with the 1.9 cdti 150 hp and it easily tows and launches a 6.5 Humber with a 175 opti on a twin axle. Depends on the slip though. Tows the rib like night and day by comparison to the shogun sport we used to have. It was the worst car we ever owned. Best bet is to check weights though.
