Tow bar fitters?

We are regular users of Tamar Towing and always found Tim and his team very helpful and competitively priced. I believe they are closed for the Christmas break, so might be worth trying them again on 3rd January.

Some vauxhalls have a plug behind the trim in the rear of the boot under the catch. Takes a plug in loom available from the dealer and goes straight to the towbar socket.
Makes it a very simple job but bit sure if this is fitted to the Astra.

Don't know about the Astra electronics but some cars need the electronics enabling when you plug the wiring harness in to knock of reversing sensors etc.

And if you have a 'bulb check' facility that warns you when a bulb fails you will also need an adaptor loom so that the onboard PC doesn't get confused when the trailer lights are plugged into the circuit.
