My octavia is just the 4x4, not a scout and has the pretty bomb proof 1.9 pd. Originally was only 105 hp but now 145 with a map. I chose that over the 2.0 pd with the intention to remap it. As it was originally so underpowered it has a very short 1st gear which is great on the slip.

Not a big boat, my friends 4.8 futura but no problem in deep shingle on quite a steep beach.
