Right or wrong, I've got a fancy detachable tow ball which I've never had 100% confidence in, it's just not right. I alway attach my breakaway cable to another bit of the car.

Don't like my detachable tow ball either Dave it's tight when I set off it works a bit loose much preferred the fixed one I had on the D3

Same here, solid as a rock when we set off, & always a bit of side to side play after a few miles. Dealer swears it's ok, I'm not convinced. Touch wood, it's not dropped off yet

They were saying on country file there is a shortage of moths in Yorkshire but plenty over the Pennines is that when you lads get your wallets out.
