Revolutionary!!!!

I grew up on a farm reversing trailers at silage & harvest time throughout the night at 11 or 12 years of age... I'm not too bad at it as you'd imagine. This though, for my wide RIB, narrow 200 year old gate piers and very tight lane outside for locking on, with a farm landy 90 plus draw bar plus 5.5m boat plus engine shaft has been absolutely revolutionary.... I wouldn't be doing it on my "good" family 4x4 but if you've an old shunter like I use for boat launch & recovery, I'd strongly recommend this move...... Click image for larger version

I like your cover

Hi Whippy.

6 year ago I had my RIB placed at a boat and camping storage. They had a old 4x4 with the ball connection placed on the same way that you have. Nice to see good ideas pop up in different places/heads

I like you boat cover! I have not been able to find a cover that fit as nicely as yours around the tupes, over the center consolt plus covering the A-frame and motor (I presume...). Who is the manufactore of the cover?

Yep - I had a front ball fitted to my Navara last year, awkward approaches to slips or beach access is now a "no brainer"!!

Hi Bent - yes, you're right! I'm really impressed with this cover. It fits like a glove. Unfortunately to achieve this you really need to leave your boat in with my guy for a few days but he may have the blue prints of your configuration on file.

He's in Southern Ireland - Richard Marshall - Marshall marine covers & sailmakers, east ferry, cobh, Co. Cork. A quick google search will find him for you. €100 per meter. Couldn't recommend him more highly.
