Public Weigh Bridge

Does anyone know if there is any public weigh bridges in Pembrokeshire / West Wales?

The trailer is starting to look its age and i was thinking of upgrading / replacing when finances allow. Don't really want to go down the brakes route for the 2mile journey it goes on before being submerged in salt water or driven up the sandy beach but it be nice to know if they are legally required.

If you ask a local haulier, they should be able to tell you.

Waste transfer stations/civic amenity sites may be worth a try, or take a spin around a large industrial estate, eg Waterloo ind est., Pembroke Dock and you'll probably find one.

Scrapyards are another option.

Pembs CC should keep a register of public weighbridges.
