Post and packing on trailer spares

Really not impressed with Indespension.

I lost a bearing cover from the end of the bearing saver yesterday. Not sure where but thought it'll be easy enough to replace.

Found one, sensible price for a small piece of plastic then the post and packing - they having a laugh!!

Anyone got one in a box some where?

Can you not go to a dealer and get it?

To be fair to them (a) the hassle of sending a tiny component (b) the complexity of pricing shipping makes it easier to have one size fits most approach.

£8.95 for something that light's talking the proverbial.

I've just a new breakaway cable from Western Towing just over £3.00 P&P.

Treerat's item isn't even parcel carrier stuff - it's post and a small jiffy bag

I think a lot of suppliers have stopped using the PO and gone with couriers for ALL deliveries. I had some bits sent from Indespension recently (small & heavy) and paid the same charge. It's irritating if it's something small and light but in my case, I came out of it well ahead.

They call it Progress, I understand

When I get up to 25Kg for next day delivery for under £5.00, I'd expect considerably less for something weighing next to nothing and with minimal cube.

I understand Treerat's frustration.

We ship by FedEx everyday

Yes it can be done cheaper if we use the post office etc

But do you want to pay for someone's time to go to the post office and send the package + postage

Swings roundabouts maybe

FedEx are shysters & chancers, I wouldn't trust them with an empty pop bottle

It's a 42mm - measured the diameter of the shaft where it went into the clamp.
