New trailers

I'm on the lookout for a new trailer for a 6m+ rib, what info can people give me on pros and cons of different makes. I'm working on a bit of a budget so lower prices would be better .

Tony, that one Jono is selling was on e bay a fortnight ago in Southampton, but can't remember what happened at the end of the auction. Andy, Stu has a bigger used trailer for sale at the moment, RM suitable for 7 - 7.5m and two axles.

Mine is an admiral. It was a good price from stevetheboat and seems to be pretty good really. braked trailer, 16 rollers, nice and sturdy, built in hitch lock. The wheel units seem to be fully sealed so not sure how long these will last...

Do you mean the bearings or the whole unit including suspension?

Yep! Definitly agree with that, all fully adjustable etc with light board. And none of those sealed bearings either, just good old DIY ones. All for under a grand.

Pete, I think a 7-7.5m trailer would be too big for the drive and two cars but thaks anyway.

Anyone heard of this company: http://www.cantrailers.com/ribtrailers.htm

Their RB003 looks good for £1600

Cue Nos4r2!

I seem to remember he's looked at one, and found it to be slightly substandard, sure he'll be along with accurate details...
