My new trailer

At last managed to get myself a trailer after being ripped off by the boat builder......

Trailer is a De Graaff 3000kg - pretty good condition by the look of it with a very long launching pole.

Tows beautifully so far - hardly know it's there. Just big enough for my boat - pretty big trailer but still looks small compared to the borrowed CLH I had.

Nightmare journey home from Surrey - M4 was closed - didn't get back until 2am.

Can get the boat out of the water now to do some odd jobs and some tarting up ready for next season - if we have one!!!

Long story. Paid for boat and trailer - had emails etc to prove it - then he said "what trailer". When I showed him the emails he said - "ahh but it doesn't say WHAT trailer does it".

Guernsey's legal system is very different from ours and I just couldn't afford to keep flying back so gave up on it.

That's a bad story Codders but on the upside you've got what looks like a cracking trailer there!

Probably the best outcome at the end of teh day. You can't imagine the pile of rusting crap Jason would have sent you had he stuck to his word.

Codders

Check the boat onto the trailer very carefully, my prosport would not fit a DeGraff trailer due to the deep v of the hull. I had a trailer with the swing arms lowered to take the hull

What sort of De Graaff did you have?

The trailer I have was carrying a Scorpion and they are pretty deep V I should think.

That's not a trailer... it's an Eddie Stobbart wagon! Nice bit of kit.

Codders,

Enjoy the De Graffe.....they are excellent trailers!!

I've had two De Graffe's and most recently an Indespension. No way was the Indespension a better trailer despite everybody saying it would be.

When I win the lottery my 8.5m Delta will be sitting on a De Graffe trailer!

Chris

I had a little degraff under my 4m searider. Good quality!
Got an indespension one now, happy with it except for how the rollers are attached.
