My new combo trailer....yipeee

Hi Everyone,
This is my new custom built combo trailer with launching dolly.
A good mate of mine is a welder/fabricator and he came to the rescue when I was grumbling about having to completely submerge my trailer to launch and recover my TT-Supacat. I was forever having to pump fresh grease into the wheel bearings to stop salt water damage to them, plus the original trailer had to be schlepped that far into the water to float the boat of the bunks and with me clocking 44 I wanted something a lot easier. So he came round to my house, measured up my boat and came back with three designs and this was the one I settled for.
All new construction with new components, fully galvenised and delivered within a week, the price was £795 all in, which I was made up with.He has not only used roller wheels but also hard p/u wear sliders for the contact point between the dolly and trailer.
It had the first launch this weekend and was brilliant, so much easier.

Anyway, I hope you like it....I DO!
If anyone in the North Wales or chester area wants anything welding, fabricating or designing pm me and I will send you his contact number.

What a great bit of kit. I like that alot and just shows what a good fabricator can do with a little imagination.

Buy him a couple of beers

Many thanks for the feedback 250kts,

He definately had some beers for this as it was his big 40 birthday on Saturday,we went out on the boat in the day and on the lash that night and he didnt go to work today either. I have shown him your response and he is a very happy, but hungover man.
