Max load tyres

Got 145R12 72T tyres on my trailer. I'm trying to find a 12" tyre with a hevier max load than 72 but I'm struggling to find one.
I'd really like to put 10" wheels on to lower the trailer down because the tow ball on the van is lower than the top of the axle so the whole rib leans down on to the ball.

Try Mersea Trailers in Colchester - they put a set of 10" wheels on mine to help get it through the garage door. Your SR won't be much heavier than my Humber.

Alternatively if you change the hubs a set of old Mini wheels do the job nicely @ 10".

Is your trailer braked? What max loading are you looking for?

Unbraked, the 79's bounce a bit to much even with max PSI in them. I think around an 87 would do but would like a 96 so each tyre can take 710KG.

9D, thanks for the info.

my trailers use 10 inch rims and tyres from the old mini car ,145/10 rated at max 315kgs /694 ibs, each, its the old mini size tyres you need as they went on to 12 inch in the late 1980s along with the metro, try a scrap yard or some one that breaks old minis , i got a couple last year that had been spare wheels and had never been used .
