Are you SURE that's a 4x? Did the seller look like a hairdresser?

A CRV cant be "proper 4X4" it does more than 25MPG and dont leave its territory marked with a pool of EP85w/90 gear oil. also it wont spend enough time at a the dealer being fixed to qualify
My degraff trailer has a proper quick release lighting board bracket, i only used it to fetch the empty trailer, i too find it easier to put the board on the A frame with a bunjee and run the cable in the boat. dont have a problem with the dirty cable in the car, its a proper 4X4 and smells of gear oil, diesel, wet carpets, mould, and dogs anyway.......yep a landrover!

I just lay the cable on the middle of the trailer then wind it round the jockey weel a few times. Takes about 15 seconds to put on, and 5 to remove.

Knew someone that kept his lightboard on the A frame permamently, just wound up the cable and dumped it in the back.

Why Not LEDs?

Has to be the LED light route for me, no dirty trailerboard to worry about!

http://rib.net/forum/attachment.php?...1&d=1200074358

Just a small numberplate board that can hang off the aframe or transom.

Chris,

With the LED route, Is there an LED version on the market that has combined indicators, lights, & brake light, also is there a regulation that the number plate should be illuminated?
