Led Trailer lights

Thinking of changing my lighting board light cluster, and have found these.....

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1305428970...84.m1423.l2648

They look good and I thought a great price..... Especially as they say "waterproof"!!!
Anyone had any experience good or bad?.....?

Glad everyone likes the look of these and found the link useful... However I wanted to find someone who has fitted them before I committed...

Looks like I just need to stump up the cash!!

The other way of looking at it -

How much is a bulb cluster?

Worst case you are back to square 1, and a few quid down. Probably an insignificant cost differential when compared with twhat the thing o nthe traielr will drink in a day's outing!

I've got another set of "submerisble" ones that I was hoping to have fitted in time for tomorrow's Forth cruise, but various stuff got in the way and they probably won't be on 'till next week. Will report as & when they go swimming.

I've got "submersible" led units on my trailer, if they're anything to go by you should try for a discounted job lot, you'll be replacing them fairly regularly.

I dont think water's getting in as they're resin filled but they still pack up after a season or 2

I'm guessing that you'll need to put a resistor in series with the indicators to suit most modern cars with CanBus systems, otherwise you'll be travelling down the road looking like a demented disco ball
