Having tried a few different types with varying success (most of them took on water eventually) I have found these to be very reliable...

Plus there is an output for an optional number plate light...

Just fitted these LEDs & Amber marker light to my trailer they are brilliant when recovering in darkness here's a few pics Click image for larger version

Andy, just a word of warning, I had to change my number plate on mine to the horizontal format, the square one hangs down too far & caught the slip when launching or going over speed humps.

Cheers Dave up to now I've not had any problems yet I've got about 9" between number plate & road I've a spare horizontal one off the old trailer board I'll leave it in the car just in case ��
