LED indicators/light clusters and warning beepers?

Has anyone fitted LED clusters or indicator bulbs to their trailerboard on a non-canbus car? Does the indicator warning beeper still work if you did?

Just installed a towbar on my '04 allroad opted to fit a relay rather than an oem wiring kit as it has bulb sensing... Works fine and the relay still beeps when the led lights are connected...

As long as they are decent LED units it should be fine, I think they come with resistors built in so they activate the beeper correctly and don't mess up on cars with bulb failure warning systems. The car transporter I use has all LED rear lights and works fine with my beeper.
