We could offer you £1000 P/X for your current trailer (assuming it is in a fully serviceable, roadworthy condition), giving a price for the new one of £1470 + VAT = £1764. Take the £800 off and you would be looking at £964 for a brand new trailer with none of the hassle and 1 years warranty.
I have just reviewed the quote, it is 338 for complete axle, including drums and brake cables, but does not appear to include wheels, or VAT.
a pair of wheels/tyres will probably be around 150, and 50 for the u bolts and mud guards (at a guess) add in VAT and you come out about 650 total.
No postage as I will pick up the stuff directly.
Unfortunately, however much I would like to, I cannot justify to SHMBO the additional cost, sorry!
Nice thought though!
