DOVER Public Slipway

Has anybody any experience of using the Public slipway opposite the Royal Cinque Ports Yacht Club in Dover ?

We have to deliver a 22ft boat on a twin axle trailer on Thursday to Dover Marina, however the hoist is out of service, as we have another boat to pick up the following morning we need a solution.

I've tried port of Dover, the marina and the Yacht Club, none willing to offer much advice. Boat launch suggests its narrow but able to be used at all states of tides. The boat weighs 1.5t (Quicksilver 640 Pilothouse), were coming from Plymouth so we could do with being sure before we leave.

We aim to arrive at high water (around midday on Thursday). Will we be ok ?

Any help appreciated. Thanks
