Wouldn't it be easier to change it over to something like Gullwing Trailers roller bunk setup?

FOR LARGER BOATS 0VER 16FT - BOAT TRAILER UNIVERSAL GULLWING MULTI WOBBLE ROLLER BUNK SYSTEM FOR EASY LAUNCHING AND RECOVERY OF ALL BOATS: Amazon.co.uk: Car & Motorbike to see a pic, though i haven't heard anything of Gullwing for a while.

Trouble is with a modify-it-myself option is that there is nowhere to safely keep the boat while I do the trailer mods, I'm short on time due to other projects (building a house for example) and the lack of local suppliers and logistics of getting stuff here means that I only have to be short of a U bolt or something and it will either take weeks to sort out or end up being a complete bodge up. A decent but more or less off the shelf option that I know has worked for somebody else seems like the best way forwards.

Would SBS be able to supply you the parts to convert from bunk to roller?

Hi Steve, is yours the 7.8? I have a few new old stock Extreme Trailers, which will be going for a song and are available immediately, if you're interested. As you know, I could carry out specific mods, if you required. PM me if you'd like more info.
All the best, Ben

I've bought one braked one for my rib, there is a pic of it somewhere in the show us your rig section. It is a bit long, but I haven't chopped it down yet.

I also am involved with Tenby Sailing Club and we purchase 1 beach trailer every year, a roller coaster style with oversize off-road tyres and no suspension.

I can't fault them, but they are the closest trailer people to me for spares. Most the time, it's just winches and jockeys wheels for the beach trailers. They are always happy to help, but we are repeat customers.
