I've been all over North wales, been going since I was a nipper. But I've only ever been to South Wales once. Went to the brecon beacons to help move my mate who was moving from the barracks there to the barracks in Munster, Germany.
Got the van filled up with all his stuff and decided to go out for a few drinks. Night ended in us being chased by (and this isn't an over statement) about 30 blokes through the town. Only way we got away is because army boy had the brain wave to hide in a little river underneath a bridge, in November!
I'm in no rush to go back Wouldn't mind but we where mistaken for another group of squadies who'd spilt someones chips or something.

Next day was a drive to hull and then the ferry over to Rotterdam. Drove through Holland and into Germany. Got to Munster, and next day moved all his stuff in. Shall we go out for a drink says I? Can't happen twice can it?

Got into the town on and sat in an Irish bar (run by Turkish people). Except all the turks in Munster suddenly decided they had had enough of the british in the Oxford barracks and there was riots all over the town. So it was time to run like a whippet with a bum full of dynamite again! Luckily my mate being an MP helped allot as a passing armoured vehicle spotted us and picked us up.
Give me a night out in Liverpool anyday. You butt one person once and they stay down and the rest just carry on drinking!
