I was looking at those on fleabay Nick, the only thing that puts me off is the snap hook which doesn't look strong enough to me, especially if being tractor launched with 2 or 3 people going down the ramp with fuel and kit on board. If the winch snapped would it do the job.
I would say it is the same snap hook as on a winch strap so would be fine, its not as though your launching the Titanic!
