Best way of getting a boat down to the Med

I am trying to way up the cost of getting a rib (785 Ribeye) down to Mallorca.
Is it best to have it towed or shipped?
Does anyone have any experience of this and/or approximate costs

I have transported numerous boats to Mallorca over the years. If you drop me an email to info@boat-transportation.co.uk with full details I would be happy to give you a quote.

Give the Ribeye to the Sea Scouts to make rafts out of and buy a proper rib in Mallorca.

Used to tow my boat down to Menorca every summer. Its an easy drive over 2 days with a sleep on the boat in a rest area on the autoroute.

Easiest route is channel tunnel, then straight to Barcelona and catch the Balearia ferry. Its around £1k on the ferry (1 way, 30ft trailer) and about 900 miles from Calais.

Probably would be, but its a bugger trying to squeeze a 25ft boat into the overhead locker

A pal of mine sent his Phantom 21 on a trailer in a container to NZ for £1500. It did take a day or two.
