I can get 34mpg on a run in the xc90 which is awd not 4wd, who knew a disco would be an economy box!
My grand cherokee i owned briefly was 30 on a run.
Towing i would think the xc90 will go down into the low 20s

If I drive like a Granny on the motorway, I can get the disco to 35mpg. Towing loaded up to the nuts & doing 70 it returns a reliable 24mpg. The missus gets 22 doing 5 miles per day to & from work & she had a lead right foot🙄

Trip computer, I have checked it on a run with a Brim to brim fill & it's usually about right & can vary slightly either way.

The only bit that gets changed is the black diffuser in the centre, normally its slatted and goes under the bumper more, but it gets replaced with a slimmer one to accommodate the tow bar when it gets retracted.
