If they are American it is possible they won't be legal in the UK ..............

Actually laws from state to state within the US are different.

I doubt that importing a trailer to the UK would be all that cost efficient, but aif you desired, I'm sure the manufacturer would outfit it however you desired, so as to be mechanically legal within the UK. Any kind of certification required would be up to you, though.

Are you looking for a boat trailer, or an enclosed trailer (I see nothing from Atlas for boats.)
