ZODIAC 500 SRMN 70HP Yamaha 2 stroke

2006 17.5 ft Zodiac Milpro SRMN500. 2006 Yamaha two-stroke with 18 gal.
fuel tank.

New two man jockey console with windshield, underseat storage, instrument access door and padded sissy bar. Very comfortable and sissy bar is perfect for an observer to sit backwards and watch a person tubing, etc.

The only reason I am selling the boat is I have a larger Zodiac that I use alot more often. The engine runs perfect with power trim and around 50 hrs.

Will come with stainless prop and galvanized trailer with spare. Located centrally in the US. This rib is in great condition and drives like a go kart.

10K.

You may call me at two seven 0 eight 3 2 zero zero 1 two.

Thanks for looking!

Reckless-

You'll have to contact the owner to see if the boat is still for sale. I think he had multiple people lined up to buy the boat. I drove 1100 miles to see the boat with the intention of buying the it. I did not buy it for a number of reasons but the main reason is because the tubes were leaking in multiple locations and this should have been disclosed along with other issues. Feel free to contact me if you want a third party opinion. It's a fair boat for the price but plan on having to repair the cones which I've found are a very difficult repair. Don't get sucked in like I did but high pressure salesmanship.

Good luck

John

The leak is a eighth of an inch on each side on the bottom of the cone seam. I was not aware this was the case as the boat will hold air tight for a week or so. It is a 200 or 300 dollar repair. I do not have a certified Zodiac facility near or would have it fixed. Someone with hypalon experience should have no trouble fixing this. As I said, this is a seam leaking which just needs re gluing. Not a hole.

Let's be honest here Hoss. You knew the tubes were leaking because you put soap suds on the leak right before I showed up. You let me drive 1100 miles round trip. If you rub your finger across the seams you can feel the unevenness in the glue...almost where someone tried to patch it. They leak loud enough that you can hear them from 4-5 feet away. Let's call it like it is and not let someone else be victim of dishonesty. You knew damn well they were leaking before I showed up and if not for the soap suds and bubbles I would have probably missed it and ended up with a couple thousand dollars in repairs. Can they be fixed? Sure. But what else did you lie about?

While I can sure appreciate that you told me you were clueless about Ribs, I told you the rib was priced fairly. When you arrived, you told me ....

"I dont even need to test drive it . It was so clean let's just go to the courthouse and sign the papers. "

You were not misled. I did not know the leaks were there. I had the boat in storage for the winter, filled it up, cleaned it up and waited for you to show up.

When I cleaned it I used 303 protectorant after I wiped the pollen off of the sponson since it is pollen season here.

If I was stupid enough to wipe soap on a leak I knew existed, I would be just as stupid to tell a buyer to drive 1000 miles just to get on here and whine because he told me his wife would have his a.. if he showed up with a leaking boat.

I called a Zodiac Repair person on the spot and had him on speaker phone in front of you when he said it would be a 2 or 3 hundred dollar fix and the person to call in Cleveland where you said you were from.

You chose to walk away after driving 1000 miles and a 300 dollar fix and spent a helluva lot more than that just to get here. Only to say how fair priced and nice the boat was in person.

I will not be spending anymore time on responding to your posts.

You said you only needed the boat to learn how to Kite Board.

Stick to Kite Boarding.......

The boat is sold.

I purchased the boat for diving and charter.

Apparently I have a leak to fix.
