The Mercury "Dive & Rescue" series is designed with maximum versatility in mind for the demands of diving, rescue and many other professional disciplines. The DR series is easy to trailer, launch and recover with minimal effort.
Mercury Professional RIBs are manufactured with AKRON TPE material which has been proven very resistant to UV and abrasion. These robust craft come standard with extra strong accessories; double rubbing strake, inside and outside lifelines with stainless steel D-rings, reinforcement pads with non-slip finish on top of the tubes, heavy duty inflation valves and pressure relief valves. This standard equipment list is unmatched in the industry.
The deck has a nonskid finish directly integrated into the laminate process. The hull in this series has a solid one piece foam core for added safety and superior floatation capability.
The DR400, DR450 and DR490 have been carefully developed to ensure an excellent balance of seaworthy performance, speed, comfort and low fuel consumption due to their quick planning capabilities.

Just finished rigging a nice Searider 400 with jocket seat and Honda 40hp. Came out pretty sweet, so I built two of them.
