Buy the slide-on seat brackets and install on your own peice of painted or varnished wood.

Seat brackets here: Achilles Seat Hardware

If you are not sure how they go on the seat, look at the image I attached below. Once installed, they make a space into which the seat bolt rope on the tubes slides in.
