For sale 2001 Diesel IB 630 Zodiac Hurricane
Rare ex US coast gaurd boat.
Has 135 HP IB Volvo Diesel
NEW tubes WING Polyuerathane tubes dated 2007
has ulman shock mitagating seat.
The two jockey seats in the picture are out but go with the boat.
Also the Boat is running a SP volvo Leg but i have a DP leg to go in it and a brand new in the box DP prop set. (just swap the lowers) The SP has like 3 Props tho i like the SP have used it since i bought the boat 4 years ago.
Great milage with this set up i can go out the gold river inlet 20 miles then out into the pacfic ocean 12 miles to the best fishing in B.C then fish all day and come back and still use less than $100 the most it ever used one day was $90 in fuel. the boats only do like 22 Knts with the SP leg the DP they claim close to 30 Knts. The engine bay mounts are set up so the longer 6 cylinder Volvo can fit in there but i like the 4 cylinder, so never up graded but it can be done if you want to. the one in the boat has like 500 Hours on it.
The Boats in great shape the US coast gaurd payed like $120K each for theses boats in 2001.
Has no foam in the hull so you can look way forward from the engine bay.
So no water loged foam to worry about hull is in ex shape to.
Boat is siting on a like new Karavan 2012 Duel wheel trailer.
Price is $36500 boat is in Campbell River B.C on Vancouver island.
Price is firm i dont really need to sell it she was a hard boat to find.

I saw your ad dated May 2015 regarding your RIB for sale. I am trying to acquire a similar rib and wonder if might help me ID this engine and boat. The hull number on mine is XDC 63276I102.
What can you tell me about this unit.The inboard volvo diesel has no data. I wish to know the model of the engine, and more info on the boat. I can send pics if needed. Also, where I might get a new collar, tube set.

boat is sold call zodiac in Richmond B.C Canada give them hull number they can tell you everything. I just bought a 19 ft 2006 nautica wide body with a IB diesel 240 Hp with bravo leg as I did find the Zodiac not fast enough for me. it was Ok as mine was set up at the 150 HP setting not the 135 Hp it had a 4 cylinder Volvo and could do close to 30 knots wide open. good engine I just wanted something newer and faster. the 630 is a great boat. theses diesel ones were made in Canada . the USCG changed the tubes to wing tubes which I think are better than the original ones. they run about 15K USD a tube set with all the rubber side strakes and D rings rope ect. I think Zodiac can build a set cheeper than that tho.
Your hull number tells me your boat was made in 2002 that's all I can tell you from that number. if it has wing tubes check the left back corner of the tube it has a serial number to the last two numbers are the year most are a lot newer year than the original hull. if its got the original zodiac tubes they might need to be replaced soon . they claim 20 years but that depends on care and use. I like the wing tubes better myself.
