Not getting into this reliability argument again buy what you want they all brake down sometimes but I have been up in the Peak District this weekend with Disco3 .co.uk must av been a mix of 12 D3 & D 4 plus an odd couple of Defeners and no one broke down the only lane we didn't manage was up steep quarry slope that was like sheet ice. But we did see some muppets out in BM and a merc ml came through a hedge in front of us.

800 new jobs in UK......while new factory is being built in China to fulfil Chinese orders. When factory is finished I reckon they'll use Chinese workers........and the Indian ( Asian ) owned Land Rover will hop skip and jump to new facilities in China.

Or they'll stay loyal to their UK workforce just like every other world brand and reintroduce production to Coventry?

Triumph have moved production to China.
Jag are making over 70% of their stuff in China, Bentley are surviving because of a new chinese market, Aston are in the shit because they have done nothing in China.
Look at the boat market.........in the US, 90% of US sales are from US manufacturers, 80% of those are in Florida.
That looks like a market on the edge of implosion.
They can not shift product.
LandRover need to wake up to competition and not rely on the Brit wave. It will dump them in the sh*t, Posh Spice or not.
They need a watertight product that is not falling back upon warranty claims.
The reason Honda had no warranty claims on their S2000 V-Tech is that they replaced engines during routine service without notifying the owner until after the service.
It became a service item and didn't damage their 100% reliability record.
