I think part of the appeal of Defenders and Jeeps etc is the fact that they are crap on the road. Its what makes them enjoyable compared to typical everyday modern cars!

Yeah, driven both, totally pants on the road (seat of the pants!). But more Smiles per Gallon than a lot of alternatives. If they want my Defender - they'll have to prise my cold, dead, hands from the wheel....

...actually, that sounds like most recoveries I've done this season

Yep 60 of petrol used to get us from Portsmouth to the Pyrenees

when will you guys see the light ?

theres only one 4x4 for towing ribs and taking all your mates upto 7 of them

its Auto

has diff locks and low ratio

does 25mpg towing

you can close the Curtains to get changed or what ever !!!

up to 5 sunroofs

off road ability is fantastic

can be modifyed any which way you want 4" IRON MAN lift or lowered etc

plenty of Bling avalible if thats what rocks our boat

kids love em

if you get the rear ladder makes single handed recovery easier as you can climb over bow

2.8 tonne tow capacity

will carry almost everything you can throw at it

can tow stuck LR's out of the mud will post link if required

and they cost peanuts to buy and to run (respectivly)

and if you get cought short you can always sleep in it

And as for street cred do i need to say anymore
