What are the historical issues with the 6.0 biffer?

There's a egr bypass thingy which buggers up and dumps steam into the exhaust and in some cases cause head gasket failure, so I read, they make bypass kits which aint dear, and that's about it I hope, the other poster guy seems to have his finger more on the pulse than I do, but it won't take me long to finger it all out, looking for a small hiab to go behind the cab, if I'm going to drive a lorry I might as well go the whole hog

Slight correction, it's a 6.7 L powerstroke engine not a 6 L

A favourable oversight though, not like you actually forgot that you bunged in a 1.4 litre Fiesta engine a year ago!!!!!!!!!!!!

I see what you mean about 6.7? I need to accurately identify this lot so I can get the right spares when I need them. I'll have a look at engine plates etc get to the bottom of it
