Modern traction control can usually be switched off.

I notice they don't show it being fitted. Presume its not drive on do up a couple of bolts, track away?

Another system here, and it's a drive on job, then connect to the hubs. Look damn heavy, which I suppose they have to be with 5 tons of Dodge Ram sitting on them.

Why would you need snow tracks anyway? Big tires aired down with lots of HP gets it done!

BTW this section of the Rubicon Trail, used to be known as one of the toughest sections of the trail, and was when this was filmed. During the summer it was considered extreme offloading. Unfortunately they dang near paved it.
