Reversing camera

Hi

Fitted one of these to my Navara works via the sat nav screen

Great for getting the towbar inline + and seeing that little brand new BMW behind you

No the control unit is from Nav tv (plug and play)
the camera came from the googling but I've ordered a cheapo camera from ebay (china) to see how it works
You can put a second feed to the Nav tv unit to run a dvd etc

cheers ......It looks like the costco one ....my brother in law has the pathfinder with the same nav system and i think his has got a reverse camera built in as standard .

not so easy to fit to the discovery as the no plate is high up on the back door ....possibly i could fit to the bumper

meant to ask is it wireless?

sorry for the questions

No not wireless as I couldn't get a good wireless camera unit, the Navara doesn't have the option for the rear camera
You can get cameras with movable heads; mine has angled spacers so you can set it as you want.
I wanted to fit it higher so you can look down on the tow bar etc

Wouldn't mind one on the boat to keep tabs on 'Jigsaw'.

Your fuel gauge and my rib, multitasking I'm very impressed

Anyway you'd fail with "RTFM" on the install
