It is so true though. All you have to do is put foreign plates on your car - the DVLA database won't know what the hell they are - when you drive past a SPECS camera it will just ignore you. The police won't bother stopping you cos it's too much like hard work - too much paperwork involved and they won't be able to speak your language.

There are a few avenues that you can take (depending on the circumstances) to, legally, overcome the difficulty of being done of speeding. Using hairspray, lying or pretending that you are Spanish are not amongst them.
