If the Navara uses the same 2.2dci as the Primera, be very wary.. The problems posted on the net, (mainly the Primera Owners club,) indicate they probably won't go over 100k with-out something major going wrong.. (Clutch, Dual Mass, Turbo, Engine, Electrics, etc..) If you do look for a Navara, a post '04 2.2dci diesel is regarded as slightly more reliable than the pre '04..

Although, having stood on a slip in France whilst an un-named member here recovered their Extreme, The clutch on a Nissan can take quite a lot before the smell of burning starts to linger in the morning air..

I had a good nose over one the other day-I have to say I'm quite impressed with them too. Proper 2 stick 4x4 rather than electronics.

However, there's a few interesting stories about them burning out clutches on some of the review sites. Can't work out if it's net whingers though.

Nice. It's basically a Hilux with bells on, innit? Should check all the boxes. What is the towing limit?

Nice one. I've been trying to kill one of these for the last three years but it won't die.

Mine had 80000miles on it when I bought it. It's still got 80000 miles on it cus the speedo is broke.

Oil change? The man I bought it off said change it at 85000. I haven't reached that yet.

Anyway, a bit of quicksilver 2 stroke oil in the diesel every now and again works wonders.
