Cool! I've lined up a couple of Ebay shops to buy from so will await your results

When one of the headlights went in the Shogun a few months ago I decided to swap both for some Philips ones in Halfords that claimed a brighter light etc.

I have to say I've seen no difference what so ever.

Ive fitted HID Xenon Kits to a few of our cars, if your car has projector lights then they probably will pass the MOT, but if not, i doubt it unless you are friendly with the MOT tester. I normally just take them off for MOT and put normal bulbs back in, as its only a 5 minute job.

None of mine have projector lights and all passed fine, some at a main deaer and some at a local test station.
My brother and my Dad have never had any problems either.

The Police didn't seem bothered when I pass them or when they have random checks.

Just replaced the dipped beam bulbs in my 7yr old Audi A3 with some Philips 'Vision Plus'. About £18, but they are definitely an improvement. I couldn't be sure it was ageing bulbs or reflectors that was the problem and tried a cheapo Ring replacement first that made no improvement. Glad it was only the bulbs at the end of the day.
