Cool! I've lined up a couple of Ebay shops to buy from so will await your results

When one of the headlights went in the Shogun a few months ago I decided to swap both for some Philips ones in Halfords that claimed a brighter light etc.

I have to say I've seen no difference what so ever.

Ive fitted HID Xenon Kits to a few of our cars, if your car has projector lights then they probably will pass the MOT, but if not, i doubt it unless you are friendly with the MOT tester. I normally just take them off for MOT and put normal bulbs back in, as its only a 5 minute job.

None of mine have projector lights and all passed fine, some at a main deaer and some at a local test station.
My brother and my Dad have never had any problems either.

The Police didn't seem bothered when I pass them or when they have random checks.

Just replaced the dipped beam bulbs in my 7yr old Audi A3 with some Philips 'Vision Plus'. About 18, but they are definitely an improvement. I couldn't be sure it was ageing bulbs or reflectors that was the problem and tried a cheapo Ring replacement first that made no improvement. Glad it was only the bulbs at the end of the day.
