Disco 3 - Remote Control for FBH

To fund my winter project on the rib, I am thinking of selling the Remote Control for FBH fitted to the Disco 3 TDv6.

I have had it for about a month, I got it to take full advantage of the instant warmth on these cold mornings - and I have loved waking up and seeing the thick ice on everyone's car and I blip the button go and get a shower, breakfast and walk out to the sound of the FBH running, jump in and get no glow plug light and engine temp is just below normal

I know this seems a silly time to be selling, but due to some changes, and other projects I think it will have to go.

Looking for £200 + pnp

Am planning to fit mine this coming weekend.

I've already got all the parts together, otherwise I would have been interested.

What have you gone for Nasher, the oval timer or the Bell FBH remote?

I first thought about the oval timer, but at the moment you cant guarantee you will need the pre heat. Take today for example the forecast was a mild night but this morning was far from mild.

I've gone for the Oval timer, but with a GSM enabled remote wired in.

I'll be able to get up in the morning and send the car a text message to start the heater. Good job I've unlimited texts with my phone deal

Or when I get back to the airport I can do the same when I get off the plane so the car is nice and warm when I get in it.

Nasher.
