CD player upgrade for Disco

Does anyone know whether this CD player will work in a Disco 1, specifically the steering wheel controls for volume etc?

IMO The landrover CD players arent very good. for that price you could buy a new Kenwood or Alpine or other. some will work with the steering wheel controls with the correct loom adaptor, and give you the facility to shove a flash card in the front with all your MP3s on.
Sorry for not answering your question, but hopefully a helpful comment

As above the LR ones barely make it to the end of the warranty period (in fact a lot don't) so not really worth buying second hand.

I also agree with the Kenwood recommendation - I've got a couple in different vehicles with the USB port on the front and you can bung a 4GB memory stick in with loads of toons on and it never skips

So I just need to buy a loom adaptor? Can anyone recommend a particular model (or somewhere I can find out which models will work with the controls)

After replacing one in a TD5 last night I discovered they do indeed have different plugs and things. I think I'm just going to get a Sony CD player and forget about the extra controls.
