Collect Benetau Atares 650 (21 ft) from Milford Haven (slipway.... No trailer etc) and deliver to Suffolk. Collect Merryfisher 805 (27 ft) from Suffolk and deliver Milford H.... Relaunch from slipway.

Guess it could work t'other way around too.....

Thanks! Dan

Dan,

PM Sent.

The only issue you are going to have is that the Merry Fisher 805 weighs around 3800kg (brochure weight = 3360kg, but this was the actual weight of the last one we transported) so must be transported on a low loader and not towed on a trailer. This is going to restrict your choice of haulier. Slipway launching/recovery is also not going to be possible, so you will need a crane/hoist at each end.

Try giving Geoff Houghton a call at Boat Transport based in Hythe. He has low loaders and travels everywhere. Really nice chap, taught him day skipper power a few weeks ago. www.boattransport.co.uk
