Beware scramblers
http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/m...de/6676809.stm
Police are now starting to use remote drones with CCTV cameras to tackle disorder and anti social behaviour.
Great - a chance to tackle gangs and chavs mugging old ladies? Not quite - watch the video footage and the Police mainly mention people riding quad bikes and scamblers - and no doubt the odd Land rover driver as well...........
Big Brother still a popular TV show???

You say that but it seems to be a modern curse. I'm amazed at the number of people I see who drop litter without even looking around for a bin. Nobody seems to care. And the countryside seems to gather more and more litter. maybe Machine guns in that case would be good.

Or just using one of the offender's bodily orifices as a makeshift bin?
I have to say it makes me really angry when I see people dropping litter. I mean what's wrong with just putting it in your pocket and then throwing it away when you get home?!

I think the problem stems from a lot higher up.
The level of low level unrest and general nastiness in this country has climbed exponentially in the past 10 years.
Maybe it's a symptom of feeling like you're being shat on from a great height?

On the topic of littering I also hate it BUT with all the other stuff that goes on in this World it is pretty low on my list.
One of the most important questions is what is litter? Fair enough a plastic bag or bottle but what about an apple core or some loose crisps? The powers that be will fine you the same no matter what - hence a woman being fined for picking up a crisp packet but kicking some of the crumbs into the gutter - MAD!!!
One thing the councils etc fail to ask is WHY do people litter. In most of Europe they have wheelie bins everywhere and people are actully allwoed to put their rubbish in them. How often do you see a single bin in Britain overflowing because they can't be bothered to empty it?
then there's flytipping which is a pet hate of mine - but I do NOT blame the scum who do it as much as the authorities for making it so hard to shift your rubbish in the first place. the nearest place to Swansea to dump a skip is now Merthyr - no wonder it costs £200 a skip - any wonder the scumbags just chuk the stuff anywhere?

I think I have a solution to some of the litter problem . Around here we have a McChavs outlet about 10 miles away it would be easy to find it as all you woukld have to do is follow the trail of red and yellow packaging that is ejected from lowered Peugots ! I reckon it take 10 miles to consume a Bigmac and chips with a coke .Now if McChav were fined £1000 for each piece of pacakging found on the roads they would soon do 2 things .
1 Cut down the amount of boxes & bags .
2 Develope a biodegradeable packing made from corn starch or similar .
This would reduce the litter problem give the foxes another source of food so they leave the pheasants alone and the Local Authority some cash to finance refuse collection and hopefully choke a chav or two who think they can eat the packing !
