dont know about a 300tdi .....on my td5 i unplug the socket at the ecu then plug into the unichip then out the unichip to the ecu ...2 mins to fit or remove

Be fair look at the time!!!

It only applies to late 300tdi autos fitted with EDC - pretty rare.

I have one of those I think, TDI Auto 300 with fly by wire throttle hence the query with the chip.
