I bought a used '98 defender just over 6 years ago, it's launching and recovering boats and skis every week and driven by different staff members every day. It has stood up to the punishment very well and still going strong. I love it.

More recently I bought a used P38 rangey. I new it had poor consumption before I bought it so can't complain about that. There was quite a few jobs to do to it in month 1 that I inherited from the previous owner, since then it has been trouble free. It's brilliant to drive.

IMO the price of an old disco and rangey are close enough to put them both on the same short list. The rangy is of course the far superior of the disco
