Picked up my re-tubed RIB from Polaris yesterday and brought it home. I have attached 3 photo's reflecting the new "look" .. My current project is having an aluminium steering console with double jockey seating fabricated to fit after I replace the storage compartments tops with new fiberglassed plywood ones.

Guy didn't put the Polaris logo on?

Looks good; glad you got thing moving along.

Post more pics as you tack things on.

Wow, what a difference! Money well-spent I'd say! Since the toobs are now Hypalon, your boat is better than "new"!

Steering Console with Jockey Seating

My mate Allen got the Steering Console with jockey Seating from drawings to reality yesterday by picking up and delivering a 8 ft. by 4 ft. sheet of Aluminium to the Fabricators for Shearing and Braking and back to the workshop. Will keep updating.

Everything has now been installed on the Steering Console and it's more or less ready to be installed into the RIB.

Storage Hatch Covers

Cut and fitted the Storage Hatch covers, then Fiberglassed them and finally screwed them down permanently. Installed an Access Hatch in the Bow Storage Hatch.

hatch covers

Interesting project you have going here, just wondering what happened with the original hatch covers? The job you are doing looks really good, keep at it, projects seem to stretch out sometimes. I did a project myself on a odd little boat a while back, haven't been on this forum in quite a while..
Nice retube, looks like it is going to be a nice boat for you..

Steering Console installed

Thanks Pathalla .. the original hatch covers were not all with the RIB when I purchased it ..they had slots cut in them on the Bow & Stern ends and a "bungee type" fitting that held them down .. not suitable for mounting a Steering Console.
I've attached some photo's of the Steering Console installed and after the motor is installed next week, I will add the Windscreen & Nav Arch.
The motor that's being installed is a 70 HP Tohatsu TLDI which is a 2 stroke.
