Zodiac Cherokee

I found a good deal on a leftover Zodiac Cherokee w/ leftover Yamaha 2 cycle 40hp. Anyone with experience with these, pls let me know!

I spent a fair amount of time in an old one of those. The outer hull was all cracked and it leaked like a seive. Not a terribly deep vee, so not that great in big seas, bit of a kidney buster. Prbably where the hull cracks came from... hard use in rough seas in a previous life. Not a bad boat for decent weather knocking around in, but I was't crazy about being out in it in 5' seas and 25-30 knots.
