Oh so close. Too many days of wiring, and it didn't come out nearly as pretty as I wanted. Must be a sign of a first timer, there will be no pictures of that. The Lowrance fired up and is receiving engine data! I just need an hour or two of my welders time to finish the engine tow guard but he's been slammed for three weeks!!! Grrrr. Maybe this week......

The I can test drive and think about having the T-top made.

See attached photo of an Atlantic towers ttop I out on my hurricane 749 rebuild.

Www.atlantictowers.com

Comes in an I assembled kit. It fit on the boat well and bolted to the floor. I actually found a used one.

Good luck on the build.

@rsmacdo
That t looks great on that boat. Your console doesn't need to tilt? That was the problem on the inboard willards, made much simpler if tilt not needed.

749 is a very interesting boat. Care to spill what is driving it? Engine, tranny, outdrive etc?

@Bigtalljv
Looks simple and clean. You really need to wait for a welder? Take that thing out!!!

I could say the same for myself though. Got back home and tinkering with the final todo list. Travelling next week unfortunately, so still some time before the next test. So close!!

Console tilts forward. You have to unbolt the cross bracing to tilt it forward. There are access hatches in the engine bay to allow you to check oil and coolant and visual without opening the console.

I want to button up the outboard bracket. Can't put the cover plates with sealant on until I get the rope guide on. I "could" but I want to get it done.
