Zodiac Joe...welcome - have you had any experience with Tuff Coat; it's application and performance over time?

i don't even like talking about painting inflatables its never good ever ! i have never sean a good paint job even after a month. If i had to paint I would use Gakoflex available thought NRS. if you have crusty hypalon and it need attention re skin affected area with factory material and rub strakes. if i had a boat like that i would not treat it so badly shame on you. ><

Hi Joe
Good input. However who were you addressing your comments to? I hope I am going to be able to disagree with you.

When I got the boat, the tubes were painted white, and the bottoms of the tube where they water sprays from the hull and flaked off. The tubes also had a fair amount of UV damage and pinhole leaks. The tuff coat product has been on since September and was outside in the cold and the snow. I didn't notice anyproblems. The boat is coming back up from Miami in April, I will send some pictures on how it looks. For my application, tuffcoat was the right solution, as the only other option would have been to replace the tubes.

Another hypalon paint that seems a bit more formulated

Would be Gacoflex. It costs about $100 per gallon. I don't know if its different from tuff coat or not but they sell it on NRSweb.com . I would love to hear if anyone has used this stuff
