ZODIAC 733 HURRICANE REC. Build
Building a really cool 733. This one will have a center console, T-Top, live well under deck storage surfboard & Spear Gun rack powered with a single 250 Suzuki. Aft seating with cut down transome and a custom extension with integrated fold out boarding ladder. Black hull with navy gray deck and tubes.

first step cut down the transome
We are cutting the transome down to make it flush with the aft seat to ease the entry and exit from the boat to the swim platform.

Looks like another fun project Ryan!
You might think about tying the back of the t-top into the rear of the seat...we did a similar long t-top on my 36' Nautica and that thing shimmy-shuckled in choppy seas until we added aft braces tying it into the transom...

I have been thinking the same thing.
I have been playing with running two uprights from the leaning post up to support the back and also doing a hard top. still running some numbers and we will get a better idea when it goes to production next week.

started building the plug for the new aft deck seat/livewell.
hope to have this done tomorrow. Wave recess in floor for live well and storage box.

floor/live well mold framed
We will seal this and then lay up the part. The blue tape is covering the starboard we used to build the drain trough. When we are done sealing the wood we will remove the tape.

Modifying the CC
We are cutting out the front of the cc so we can have easy access to the storage hold. We will add gas shocks so when you open the front it will keep itself up.

It's a nice storage location under there. A good place for a tank rack too.
The only thing I might add is a hatch in the hatch. It's a big door to open and the driver can't see if somebody forgets something under there and needs to get to it quick, food or clothing is common for us.
Another issue for me is getting in there. I need to add a grab handle inside. Grabbing gas struts is a bad thing 
It also needs some padding to sit on

a little work on the bottom
We have flipped the boat over and sanded the boat down to the original gelcoat and filled all cracks and gouges.
