Why I want a rib

Because it’s the only type of boat that will fit in my single car garage yet feel safe enough to take off the coast in northern California.

I'm taking measurements now, the garage is narrow but deep. I think I can get a 6m boat in then I have to raise the house to clear the console.

Have had a Zodiac Grand Raid Mark II for 25 years. Great boat, my kids insist I never sell it. So I guess I'll have two boats with the rib offering greater speed and a better ride.

Great to have a US version of the forum.

Ah, don't let the garage size limit you... I built a whole addition and new garage to hold my boat when I got it. Unfortunately, the ex got the garage... (But I got the boat )

Another smart "North American" boater! Good luck and do your research as not all RIBs are created equal.
