Depends on the year of the boat and what NMMA / ABYC requirements were in effect.

Recently, passenger requirements have been dropping due to minimum seating and handhold requirements. Basically, every passenger needs their own seat, minimum 16" wide.

is there any kind of renumeration (of any kind?... 'in kind' or otherwise) then I think it is 6
