updates from inflatable boats magazine

Morning all,
(well its morning here in the US at least).

Erika here from Inflatable Boats Magazine.

Just wanted to drop in and say HI. Been a little absent lately as we were fighting to meet the deadline for the latest issue of the magazine.

I also wanted to say thank you to everyone who has emailed us, shared a story or bought a subscription.
If I havent emailed you back and I was supposed to, Im sorry- shoot me an email or a PM and I will get back to you today.
I was locked away in the editing basement for over a week, making sure that this issue was was perfect as it could be.

I have been reading posts and it looks like you guys have great weekend outings.
I wish we had this many ribs in close proximity to each other down here in florida.
I've been trying to get a group together for a weekend trip crossing to the bahamas (its only about 100 miles away straight shot) for 4 months. There just arent enough large RIBs that can make the crossing that have the time to go. Sad part is that it would be sponsored by the magazine and I can get great group discounts and resorts and marinas and plus the islands are just beautiful.

We will be doing an easier trek to the Florida Keys this summer. If anyone wants to come on either trip let me know.

I know I promised you guys pictures of the team members so I will post those today.

I have some great news for the yanks as you all call us but its not official yet so I can't say anything.
But trust me its really good news that will make the inflatable market and community that much better in the US. Its a definate step forward.

So I will stop going on for now.
Just wanted to let you guys know that my falling off the face of the earth was just temporary.

I will post more when I get to the office

Erika
oh here I found a picture of me from one of the sea trials in this issue. Not that great a picture but better than nothing.

Erika,

I'm a former UK based RIBster now living in Canada. I would like to subscribe to your magazine. How can I go about doing this?

Cheers,
Alan

I too would like a subscription.
I supplied all my card details but no sign of it being debited yet?

Am I using the wrong deodorant?

No, but the stories of you and your 'comfort bottle' in one hand with a ciggie on the go in another have clearly spread the other side of the pond

Erica - I think it's fair to say that if you aver make it over to this side of the pond there would be a long line of people waiting to take you out in thier RIBs!

I was at the Miami show this year, and fully expect to go back, I had so much fun I intend to spend longer there next year!

All the best with the magazine,

Guys I do not want to sound funny nor critical but what do we know about this magazine. Some of you perhaps one or two do. Is it directed to the specific american market? The rib market in the US as far as I understand is much smaller then here in Europe and specially in the UK. How do we know we will find it of interest? What is featured in this magazine? Ribs of course I guess but how is this covered. Topics ? ect ect All this is very nice to pay a subscription but I think it is like buying in the dark

Erica no offence but what is the chance of seeing before buying. I am not asking for a free copy only say a post showing some of the pages say general appearance ect
